TENDER NOTICE NO. VRM/EST./08 DATED: 03-03-2024

1. INVITATION:-
   Tenders are invited on behalf of Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas Samiti, Patna for the proposed
   construction of Viraat Ramayan Mandir. The work is estimated to cost Rs 09.42 Crores
2. GENERAL INFORMATION:-
   Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas samiti has conceived a plan to construct one of the largest
   temples to facilitate ample and comfortable space to common people for worshipping
   deities. By good grace of God, this place is available in between AYODHYA and JANAKPUR at
   village KAITHWALIA NEAR KESARIYA in the EAST CHAMPARAN district of Bihar. The National
   Highway Authority of Govt. of India has also proposed to widen the existing road to four
   lane highways along the proposed Viraat Ramayan Mandir site.
3. FOR SPECIAL ATTENTION:-
   Tenders hereunder are being invited in accordance with said Shri Mahavir Sthan Nyas
   Samiti’s bidding procedures.
   All tenderers are cautioned that Tenders containing any deviation from the contractual
   terms and conditions, specifications, or other requirements will be rejected as NONRESPONSIVE.
   Award is to be made to the Tenderer whose Responsive Tender is determined to be the
   lowest evaluated tender and who meets the appropriate standards of capability and
   financial resources.
   All tenderers are urged to promptly submit a written request on matters where
   clarifications or additional information is desired before 15TH March 2024.
4. Eligibility criteria: The contractor must have the experience in performing the below
   mentioned work (issued by government/semi-government organizations).

   (a.) 15000 CUM of RCC Work.
   (b.) 2000 MT of steel work.
   (c.) 10,000 Sqm of Shuttering work.
5. PURCHASE OF DOCUMENTS:-
   The Tender documents will be made available for sale from 07TH March to 20th March
   2024 at office of Viraat Ramayan Mandir, camp – MAHAVIR VATSALYA ASPATAL, LCT GHAT,
   PATNA – 800 001, ON PAYMENT OF Rs.5000.00 by Bank Draft/online in favour of VIRAAT
   RAMAYAN MANDIR, payable at Indian Bank, Main Branch, Patna for each set. The cost of
   the documents will not be refunded under any circumstances.
6. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:-
   The proposed temple shall be of R.C.C. structure with combination of Pile and Raft in
   foundation, having 12(Twelve) numbers of SHIKHAR (DOME), maximum height 270 ft,
   length 1000 ft and width 540 ft with expected life span of 250 years.
   The necessary approvals of Plan & Drawings as well as Environment department have
   been obtained from the appropriate Govt. Departments.
7. STATUS OF THE PROJECT:-
   Viraat Ramayan Mandir Nirman Samiti has completed the following work:
8. Approx. 3247 nos of piles.
9. Installation of weighing Bridge.
10. Site office, VRM / TCEL.
11. Labour hutment.
12. Bore well – 1no.
13. 11 kva power supply.
14. SCOPE OF WORK UNDER THIS TENDER:-
    This consists of (a) Earthwork in excavation and transportation up to one kilometer, pile
    chipping and pile head removal of debris. (b) Leveling and dressing of foundation with soil
    compaction (c) PCC in foundation up to thickness of 100 mm (d) RCC in foundation.
    (e) Reinforce steel work in foundation. (f) Shuttering work in foundation. (g) Anti Corrosive
    painting in reinforcement and bitumen paint in foundation. (h) Back filling with excavated
    soil in foundation, in an estimated cost of Rs 09.42 Crores. The mix design for the concrete
    shall be of M-50 grade with Fe-500D.
15. PERIOD OF COMPLETION:-
    The period of completion 06 (six) months from the date of Notice to proceed with the
    work.

16. EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT:-
    No Earnest money is to be deposited along with tender.
17. LANGUAGE OF TENDER:-
    Tenders shall be submitted in the prescribed form in English.
18. SECURITY DEPOSIT:-
    There is no security deposit for the execution of agreement. However designated
    amount is to be kept back from bills for the defect liability period.
19. TENDER VALIDITY PERIOD:-
    The tender shall be valid for a period of not less than ninety days after the date of
    opening of tenders.
20. SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:-
    The last date of submission of tender is 4.00 pm on 20th March 2024 at Mahavir Vatsalya
    Aspatal (3rd floor), LCT ghat, Patna – 800 001 containing technical bid & financial bid
    separately in one single sealed envelope .
    The sealed tender package (envelope) must be superscribed “Tender for the
    construction of proposed Viraat Ramayan Mandir”. Tenders received late on account of any
    reason whatsoever will be returned to tenderer unopened. Tenders sent electronically shall
    not be accepted.
21. OPENING OF TENDERS:-
    Tenders will be opened by the Temple Superintendent, Account officer, Project
    Manager & Architect of VRM at Conference hall of Mahavir Vatsalya Aspatal, LCT Ghat,
    Patna at 5.00 PM on 20th March 2023 in presence of representatives of tenderers who
    choose to be present.
22. CONTRACT AWARD:-
    The award of contract will normally be made within 45 (forty five) days after the date of
    opening of financial bid.
